• secure platforms: we use secure third-party platforms, such as Klaviyo and Mailchimp, to store and process customer information for managing our mailing list and sending promotional emails. these platforms adhere to industry-standard security protocols. 

• no unauthorized sharing: we do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to outside parties except as necessary to fulfill orders (e.g., shipping companies) or manage email communications (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp). 

• information collection: we collect personal information (name, address, email, payment details) solely to process orders and communicate about our products and promotions. 

• data security: your information is securely stored using industry-standard practices and technologies. access is restricted to authorized personnel for order fulfillment and customer support.

• any goods supplied or sold by Standard Issue are sold or supplied under the contract of New Zealand law. the laws of sale and contract by any other country do not apply.

pricing

• currency and taxes: all prices on our website are displayed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) for NZ customers (prices include a 15% goods and services tax (GST)), and in Australian dollars (AUD) for Australian customers.  

• international orders: customers outside New Zealand will be charged in NZD. the final amount charged to your credit card may vary due to exchange rates at the time of purchase, and your credit card issuer may apply currency conversion fees, which Standard Issue does not cover. 

 web only pricing

• prices listed on our website apply exclusively to online purchases and may differ from prices in physical stores. 

payment

• we accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Union Pay, Bancontact, iDEAL, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Afterpay for online payments. your credit card details are encrypted and securely processed; and are not shared with any third parties. 

• orders will be shipped only after full payment has been received and processed, typically within two business days for Visa and Mastercard transactions.  

order acceptance and fulfillment

• all orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance and availability. we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, for example limitations on quantities available for purchase. 

• in the event that we are unable to fulfill your order, we will notify you promptly and issue a refund where applicable. 

returns and exchanges

• we offer a 10 day return policy for unworn and undamaged items. please refer to our returns policy for detailed instructions on how to return or exchange a product. 

• customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was defective or incorrectly shipped by us. 

intellectual property

• all content included on our website, such as text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Standard Issue or its content suppliers and is protected by New Zealand and international copyright laws. 

• you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, display, or exploit any content from our website without our prior written consent.
