delivery

New Zealand delivery

we offer free shipping on all NZ orders.

we endeavor to dispatch items within 1 working day of receiving your order, you will receive an email once you order has been processed.

please state your daytime address to ensure your parcel gets to you as soon as possible. you will receive a tracking number in your email.

we use a courier service for all orders. your order will be delivered within approximately 2-3 working days from the date of dispatch. 

 

Australia delivery

we offer free shipping for all AU orders over $100. there is a flat rate of $20 for orders under $100. express shipping is available at check-out at a flat rate of $30. 

we endeavor to dispatch items within 1 working day of receiving your order, you will receive an email once you order has been processed.

we use NZ Post for AU orders. your order will be delivered within 10 working days. 

we use DHL for express shipping. you can choose express shipping at a flat rate of $30 at check-out. when you choose express shipping, your order will be delivered within approximately 3-5 working days from the date of dispatch.

 

rest of world delivery

postage is $50 for all international orders.

we endeavor to dispatch items within 1 working day of receiving your order, you will receive an email once your order has been processed.

we use DHL and NZ Post. your order will be delivered within approximately 5-10 working days from the date of dispatch.

 

returns

you can return any item within ten days of the order date for a refund of that item or to exchange it for a different item. if you live overseas, we will accept a longer return period provided you notify us in writing within ten days.

all goods will be inspected on return. items must be in their original condition with tags attached to be eligible for refund or exchange. Standard Issue reserves the right to refuse refunds or exchange if the item is not in its original condition.

the goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. we recommend you use a postal service that allows you to track your goods and insures you for the value of the goods you are returning.

please allow five working days for returns to be processed.

please choose carefully when purchasing sale items as no credits or refunds will be made on sale goods unless faulty. exchanges of the same style are permitted if stock is available.

all returns must be accompanied by a returns form, which you can download online here. returns which do not include this form will not be accepted.

faulty item returns

we stand by the quality of our products and are proud to make 100% of our collection in-house. all fibers we work with are meticulously tested by our team to ensure every Standard Issue garment can be enjoyed for a lifetime.  loved clothing shows wear, general wear-and-tear may include:

pilling /  piling is not uncommon with knitwear, especially wool and cashmere.  you can easily remove the little balls by hand, or by gently running over the knit with a cashmere comb.  Standard Issue garments are knitted with high quality yarns and a tight tension to help minimize piling.

moth holes /  storing woolen pieces requires a little more care compared to cottons and other fibers, as moths and silverfish love wool, and can cause holes.  using a few drops of lavender, mint, or eucalyptus on a cotton ball, nestled among your knits is a good way to prevent against these pests.  we recommend storing your clean, dry knitwear in an airtight container, especially in warmer months.  ensure your knits are clean before you store them away, as any dirt or residue can attract moths.

please see our full knitwear care guide here.  our care instructions have been thoroughly tested by our design and development team to ensure the longevity of Standard Issue garments. if you feel the damage to your garment does not fall under general wear-and-tear we ask that the garment is returned to us for assessment by our quality control team, we will then work with you to determine the best solution. please email info@standardissue.co.nz for more information.
